TRAVELOGUES ... a story about two kinds of 'migration' in Europe: national and international 'migration'... a story about families who moved from one village to a city in the same country (national migration) and about other families who moved to another country (international migration).
The first year of the project we've worked out the 'national' migration, followed by 'international' migration in the second year of the project. As main activity to get to know more about both migrations, students interviewed those families by use of a common questionnaire, consisting of two parts: one part made during the Kick-off meeting; the second part after having asked all participating students what they would like to know about this kind of European migration. This final questionnaire has being used by all and for both kind of interviews.
During partial project meetings, students gathered all answers of the interviews by use of one common table to compare the results; they made one part of the final movie 'TRAVELOGUES'. We also made two different digital maps, 'National-' and 'International travelogues' to show the route those different 'migrants' made. Students will be teached to use GIS (Course iGuess) to make those digital maps.
After all the partial project meetings, at the end of the project, we will find out all differences and similarities between national and international migration and between both migrations in the different participating countries. All the different digital maps will be gathered in one map, 'national-', and another map 'international travelogues'. One final movie will be used by all partners.
During the running time of this project, all results, pictures and designed logo will be exposed on this website 'TRAVELOGUES'.
Enjoy!
